Heavens Symphony
| October 23rd, 2009Long wishes
Sink softly
Upwards
Into the evening sky.
Deep and timid
Tinged white diamonds
Like cities distant.
Jazzing a soothing
Migration of melodious
Thoughts.
Long wishes
Sink softly
Upwards
Into the evening sky.
Deep and timid
Tinged white diamonds
Like cities distant.
Jazzing a soothing
Migration of melodious
Thoughts.
As my toes sink pleasantly between pearl white sand grains,
The strong breeze of “no worry” gusts through my knotty hair.
With my back to the vast blue sea of living splendors and delight,
My eyes ardent on dynamic greens and many dazzling colors inland.
One day on a beautiful beach,
Viewing all that my eyes could reach.
Was a little girl sitting in the sand alone,
Had toys but her smiles were gone.
Saw her parents lazing in the sun,
Not recognizing her lack of fun.
In a beach chair blue I sit, retreating from wake or care.
Caramel grains of sand sift between my toes of playful rest.
Clouds aloof, drape themselves in the sun’s red.
As the chilled Caribbean sea-breeze, proves around my skin,
The voices of friends on it rides inquiringly into my ears.
