Why hide behind a facade
Or sieve words to evade
A truth brewed within is made
To expose by pen ink charade
The words I write, so revealing
Leaves naked every thought and feeling
Written without restraint, I’m bleeding
On paper my soul’s secrets unveiling…

Reflection:
In life there are moments when it would nice if those around us would just be “real”. Not to the point of being totally transparent but without that level of concealment which keeps us questioning, questioning motives and intentions. Still, if that were so, “all the time” then the world we live in would be such a dull place, wouldn’t it? So then, may we all surround ourselves with those who do recognize such moments.
